God Consciousness

Isaiah 6:1,5
1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. ....
5 "Woe to me!" I cried. "I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the LORD Almighty."

As a sinner saved by God's grace, I can go boldly into His holy presence.

While He does not take my sins into account because He had put them all on Jesus, my consciousness of God will drive me to the realization of specific sins in a particular area of my life that are still yet to be surrendered. It is a conviction by the Holy Spirit, not to condemn me but for my sanctification.

Being God conscious does not mean that I am holy. Instead, it is a realization of who I am still. After all, I am a "work-in-progress" sanctification project for Him.

The conviction will be specific. Just as Isaiah realized his unclean lips when he saw the Lord, so it will be for me. As I remain conscious of God, I will be directed to realize which part of my life still needs correction. I will to be sensitive. I will to ask the Holy Spirit for help to submit and surrender that part to God.

If the Holy Spirit convicts you of specific sins in your life, it shows that you are God conscious. And God is watching you with love and care. Be sensitive and be obedient to His prompting and latch on to the Holy Spirit to move forward.

God bless.

Steven
