God's amazing love for me

"If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
   if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
   your right hand will hold me fast."

Psalm 139:9-10

Psalm 139 is a psalm of assurance. No child of God should not know it.

To me personally, this psalm declares, with definite certainty, God's amazing love for His own. I chewed on the words and found the following assurances:

1.  He has intimate knowledge of me - even my sitting down and standing up, my going out and my resting time, He knows all those moments. (Psalm 119:1-3)

2.  My thoughts are always known to Him; before I utter a word, He already knows. (Psalm 119:2,4)

3.  He protects me completely - what a wonderful God He is! (Psalm 119:5)

4.  He skillfully created me in my mother's womb and had ordained my days at that moment. (Psalm 119:13-16)

5.  He is always where I am or will be - even if I am trying to escape from Him, He love reaches out there to me. (Psalm 119:7-12)

Indeed, I exclaim with the Psalmist "Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain."

Praise the Lord for His amazing love!
