Royal bloodline

We must know and be very assured that from the day God formed us, even before we were born, He has chosen us to be one of His own. And because of this, we are no ordinary subjects in His kingdom. Instead, we are join heirs with His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

The psalmist recorded this wonderful fact in Psalm 139:15-16 :-

¹⁵ My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,

¹⁶ your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me
were written in your book before one of them came to be.

The Apostle Peter further affirmed our stately status in 1 Peter 2:9, saying:

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

Dear beloved, we are of a royal heritage. The blood that runs in us is royal blood. We are His chosen people. This is a mysterious but powerful and wonderful revelation.

Think about it deeply.

The same blood that ran through Jesus, Abraham, Moses, David and other bible heroes, now runs in use. Those were champions of God. By the same token, we are also a champion of God.

Sadly, many Christians do not know or believe in this great lineage. If they do, they will live victorious lives. Read what Paul said in Ephesians 1:3-5:

^"3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. ⁴For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love ⁵he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will"

His words are clear. I believe that I am chosen of God, belonging to Him and created for His glory. I urge you to also believe this blessed assurance and henceforth, move forward daily from a position of victory. There is power pulsing in our royal blood! Praise the Lord.
